The DF-A0390 is a wideband HF antenna expansion designed to extend low-frequency coverage for deployable direction-finding systems. Optimised for quadpod-mounted applications, the DF-A0390 delivers reliable passive antenna performance across the 1 MHz to 200 MHz frequency range in a compact, rugged form factor suitable for mobile and tactical deployment. At its core, the DF-A0390 incorporates a hybrid loop antenna architecture that provides excellent sensitivity and stable performance at HF and low-VHF frequencies. While fully functional as a standalone HF antenna, the DF-A0390 is specifically designed to integrate seamlessly with the DF-A0303 tri-band DF antenna, forming a combined wideband antenna solution with continuous coverage from HF through UHF when required. The mechanical and electrical interfaces are optimised to support modular integration, enabling system-level expansion without compromising RF performance or deployability. The DF-A0390 is well suited to applications including tactical communications interception, spectrum monitoring, surveillance, and direction-finding system expansion, where robust HF performance and system flexibility are critical.
